US Geothermal Inc. (UGTH) announced today that the company has met requirements for a listing on the OTC Bulletin Board, as confirmed by J Giordano Securities Group of New York City, market maker for the company's securities. US Geothermal holds the rights to approximately six and one-half square miles, which comprise the Raft River project development in Southeastern Idaho, a geothermal reservoir that was a former US Department of Energy geothermal research facility.

Distributed Energy Systems Corp (DESC) announced that it has entered into an agreement to design, engineer and construct a 400 kW solar power system at Timberland's 429,000 square-foot Ontario distribution center in Southern California. The 401.8 kW photovoltaic (PV) system will be installed on a new "TruckPort" steel mounting structure next to Timberland's warehouse, leveraging an unused area of the facility's truck yard by providing storage space for the facility as well as shaded parking for employees. Spire Corp (SPIR) announced that it has executed a contract to provide EMMVEE Solar Systems Private Limited, Bangalore, India, with a SPI-LINE(TM) 5000M. Spire's advanced photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing production line includes automated equipment for solar cell stringing and lay-up, lamination, module testing, and related training. EMMVEE Solar Systems selected Spire Corporation as their production line supplier based on Spire's proven experience, the quality of its equipment, and its training program. Shipment of the production line is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2005.

Capstone Turbine Corp (CPTC) announced a follow-on order from its distributor in France for 2.8 megawatts of its 30-kW biogas-fueled microturbine products. The new order from Soffimat (www.soffimat.com) is the second major order from the Paris-based energy systems distributor. Toyota Motor will begin producing a hybrid version of its popular Camry mid-sized sedan at a plant in Kentucky in late 2006, the automaker said. The hybrid version of the Camry perennially among the top-selling US automobiles will be the Japanese automaker's fifth gasoline-electric vehicle.

California's push to add more renewable electricity to the state's power grid is pressuring wind power developers to reduce the number of birds killed each year at one of the biggest wind farms in the United States. Wind companies like FPL Group Inc (FPL) , wildlife groups and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are trying to agree on ways to lower the risk for birds flying into big spinning turbine blades at the 584-megawatt Altamont Pass wind center in rolling hills about 50 miles east of San Francisco.

ENDESA (ELE) has signed an agreement with Sacyr Vallehermoso for the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Portuguese company Finerge Gestao de Proyectos Energeticos, S.A. (FINERGE), umbrella company of a holding which operates wind farms and co-generation plants in Portugal. The deal hinges on the pertinent authorisation from the Portuguese anti-trust authorities. The company, which has 43 subsidiaries, owns projects already in operation whose installed capacity is 60 MW and projects under construction or in the pipeline with a capacity of 260 MW.

SatCon Technology Corporation (SATC) announced that it has been awarded a contract with the U. S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) to assist in the development of power conversion electronics and controls in two key technology areas. These are power control and conversion systems for hybrid electric vehicles and pulse energy applications such as active armor. The contract has a current value of $2.8 million through 2007.
