For readers in the Hudson Valley, I will be giving a free talk next Monday night. I will speak about applying permaculture design principles to your investment strategy. While I developed my own strategy over the last two decades without any reference to these design principles, now that I’m familiar with them, I realize that I have been thinking along these lines for a long time. The design principles are remarkably robust and intuitive.
I used to think Permaculture was just about redesigning our food systems, but it’s much much more than that.
The talk is sponsored by the Rondout Valley Permaculture Meetup and will be held from 7-9pm at the Marbletown Community Center at 3562 Main St, Stone Ridge NY. If you come in an EV, we have a charging station.
Hope to see you there,
Tom Konrad
Hi Tom. Will there be a recording of the talk available online?
I had not planned on recording it, it’s a fairly small informal event, but I was thinking of writing an article based on the same content. I’ll share the presentation with you if you like.
I’m interested in either reading an article based on the same content, or the actual presentation itself.
Due to your suggestion, I did a little googling and I think I have the tools to record the presentation. I’m going to use Screencastify. I’m just hoping the audio will record well if I’m not right in front of the computer. Maybe I can find a wireless mic.
Tom;
I would love to hear/read the talk as well since I can’t be there.
Bill
Would also love to get access to this somehow. Thanks Tom
Thanks for all the interest!
It never crossed my mind but indeed it is so obvious there are interesting parallels. Would be interesting to see and discuss it here.
Unfortunately, the recording did not but I’ll be posting my presentation next week and hope to put the ideas into an article when I come back from vacation.
